Trip's in trouble again! I denote this from Malcolm's creepy delivery, 'I detected weapons fire, and then both ships just....dissapeared.' T'Pol turns to him slowly and takes the information in. It is illogical to taunt me. Reedy technobabbles that he can do something, 'I think.' Malcolm says he could do more if it weren't for the 'damned interference.' Malcolm is upset with himself, but T'Pol concurs the interference is from the moons' atmospheres. To quote The Beach Boys : Don't Worry Baby!
Polly frowns at the thought of scanning 62 moons all in search of Trip, but Malcolm seems undaunted, almost to the point that he doesn't care. I love it when T'Pol sits like Reed, as I'm sure most men in America do as well. Polly is worried that these aliens of the week have a 'reputation'. They threaten to destroy Enterprise, and Polly raises her brow. With Lieutenant Reed firing our weapons, I'd say the odds are in our favor!

Bad aliens! 'Why is there a Vulcan on your bridge?!' Reedy is agiated even further when the aliens speculate that Trip is already dead. Malcolm looks past Archer directly to T'Pol. Party in The Armory! Archer gets the aliens to help search, but T'Pol reports there is no sign of Trip. Polly is concerned since the Arkonians don't trust Vulcans. Ms. Pol tries to tell Archer they are 'devious, prone to hostility', even more so than Humans, but the Captain presses on. Dork. Double Dork on Reed for not caring about a species prone to hostility?! For shame!
Soon T'Pol discovers that Trip will fry come dawn. Reedy evesdrops from Tactical, then tries to act like he wasn't listening. Polly tells Archer to 'See for yourself.' and Malcolm's head snaps up quickly! hehe. I don't think T'Pol is so concerned with Trip, she is just very weary of the bad history between the Arkonians and Vulcans. Maybe she is a bit jealous that Archer seems to be doing better than the Vulcans did. But naturally, Trip makes the diplomatic ties. He and his crashed buddy work together to contact Enterprise, after some very heavy dirty wrestling!

One of these days I would really love to see a heat dellusioned Malcolm and T'Pol! >80) Reedy is ready to transport Trip. He gets up, but Phlox stops him. Malcolm turns with The Glare. I beg your pardon, Doctor?! Phlox says the alien is too fried to transport, but didn't anybody think to transport supplies to them? Who writes this stuff? Oh yeah. Anyway.
Reed looks to Archer, like Please don't be stupid again! Polly warns Trip about his have heat will fry, but Trip wants to remain with his buddy and be the hero. Again he's taking Malcolm's job! I wonder if that is why Malcolm seems so uninterested? He knows everyone loves it when Trip gets all these heroic adventures, but no one seems to care when he invents something and saves the ship. I Love You Malcolm! And T'Pol does, too!
